Helios (known in Roman as Sol) is the Titan and embodiment of the Sun. He never physically appeared in the series but the Colossus of Rhodes appeared in Hercules and the Hero of Athens. He is the god and personification of the sun, but in Roman and various late interpretations (including Disney's Hercules), Apollo is presented as the charioteer of the sun instead (although Apollo was not originally a solar deity in antiquity). In most genealogies, Helios is the son of Hyperion and Theia, brother of Selene and Eos and father of Circe, Aeetes and Pasiphae.
Film[]
Although his name is never mentioned, it is possible that this god, seen briefly in the film on Mount Olympus, is a caricature of Helios. He has sun-shaped hair, which makes him easy to identify himself.
