Hermes (voiced by Paul Shaffer) is the god of thieves, merchants, travelers, doctors and anyone who uses the roads.
He is often depicted with a caduceus, a staff with wings and entwined snakes, and a winged helmet and sandals.
In the film and series, he is shown as being a friend to Hercules. He tends to talk quickly.
He can travel extremely fast and is the messenger of the gods. He is the son of Zeus and Maia, one of Zeus's immortal girlfriends. He has a seat on the Olympian Council.
